MATERIALS MANAGER
Position Summary:
Responsible for driving and managing four functions of planning, purchasing, warehousing and Custom Declare. To lead the team to achieve customer satisfaction under the condition of cost-effective operation and optimized inventory investment, to achieve continuous improvement to better the whole supply chain from materials perspective.
Responsibilities:

Direct and monitor the activities of the materials management team, lead the team to provide support to both the local and global organizations across all relevant areas

Ensure the team actively implements all relevant global and local policies and procedures

Hire, train and develop people to meet the needs of the department and Company, and develop and support the improvement opportunities throughout the organization

Set up the department target aligned with the company’s development strategy and corporate goals

Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators, measuring results and achievements (e.g. cost, inventory, and delivery performance), ensuring effective communication of the same

Take action on key initiatives and KPI’s to drive constant improvement

Interact with external bureaus to ensure conformance to regulations and to have good communications with the Company

Develop, monitor and control the Material Department budget
Qualification:
- University and above, MBA preferred
- At least 5 years relevant working experience including people management experience in foreign capital company
- Familiar with MRPII
- Fluent in both oral and written English
- Good communication skills
- Team Player
- Highly responsible
